EFFECTIVE WEIGHT LOSS REDUCES HEART TROUBLE



The Effect Of Weight Loss On Heart Health..  
The Elegant woman is very conscious of the things around her including human beings, therefore, she takes extra care with time, what she does, how she lives, what she eats and what portion of time is dedicated to relaxation. All in an attempt to ward off obesity. 

Being overweight can result in an increased risk of heart disease. In order to know if you are overweight, you need to check your body mass index or BMI. This can be done using a BMI calculator on the internet or by calculating it yourself, which means taking your weight in pounds and dividing it by your height in inches squared. You then multiply that number by 703 to get your body mass index.

A body mass index of between 18 and 25 is considered normal. A body mass index of 25 to 30 means you are overweight and a body mass index of above 30 means you are obese. 
If you are overweight or obese, you need to do what you can to get your BMI values into the normal range. It means getting in shape through regular exercise and eating foods that are lower in calories and fat.

 A weight loss of just 5 to 10% will greatly lessen your risk of the various types of heart disease, including stroke, heart attacks, or peripheral vascular disease. 

Researchers who published a study in the New England Journal of Medicine found that when you reduce the number of calories you take in, the actual type of diet you choose isn’t as important. It means you can eat a low fat diet, a low carb diet, or a high protein diet, as long as the total calorie count is below that which sustains your weight. 
An average person needs between 2000 and 2500 calories per day to sustain their weight. If you can reduce the number of calories you take in per day to 500 calories less than your baseline, you can lose up to a pound of body weight per day, regardless of where you choose to reduce those calories.
It isn’t as much about a specific balance of carbs, protein, or fat but depends on the total caloric count per day. Also, keep in mind that if you become very physically active you can actually eat more calories daily and still lose weight.

According to the organization that takes measurements of our health (the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention or the CDC) about 66% of adults in the US are considered to be overweight while as many as 1/3 of us are to be considered obese.

The Role of Exercise. 
Besides decreasing your calorie count by 500 calories per day, you can increase your level of exercise.
You can do this by running, brisk walking, cycling, swimming, or any other activity you enjoy that raises your heart rate and respiratory rate. This is called aerobic exercise and should be done about thirty minutes a day 3 to 4 times per week. 
Between aerobic exercise and anaerobic exercise, you will be exercising thirty minutes a day every day of the week. It’s just thirty minutes and won’t take up too much time for the benefit it gives you.
How Does The Heart Respond To Weight Loss?
If you lose just ten percent of your body weight (which is twenty pounds for those who weigh 200 pounds already), your heart will respond accordingly and these things will happen:

 Your blood vessels will be more elastic. The blood vessels will be less narrow and will be more elastic when you exercise. This reduces the workload on your heart and will take the stress away so your heart can function more effectively. There will be less fat in your arteries, which collects on the lining of blood vessels, forming plaques that narrow the arteries and can increase the chances that a blood clot will close off the arteries, causing strokes, peripheral vascular disease, and heart attacks.Check It Out Here!

 Your blood pressure will be lower. There is a direct connection between your weight and blood pressure. The lower your weight, the lower is the risk of developing hypertension, which can lead to heart disease. Exercise also lowers blood pressure, which is another reason to include exercise as part of your weight loss program. You can also take medications for hypertension that might need to be reduced if you can successfully lose some weight.

 Your blood lipids will be lower. The amount of lipids in your blood will be lower when you lose weight. All of these changes will improve your heart health.

 Blood clots will diminish.If you lose weight, it is less likely that you will develop blood clots, which means that your chances of having a blood clot close off an artery will decrease and the chance that a blood clot in your leg could break off, resulting in it travelling to your lungs, brain, and heart.

Your belly fat will go down. It turns out that the amount of fat you retain around your belly greatly increases the risk of heart disease. In a study out of the journal,Cardiology showed that belly fat could contribute to heart disease, even in people who are otherwise of a normal weight. CHEWING Gum CAN Make you Fat

As I'm helping my colleague, to get the word out about her  - B B Method,  it's reminding me of some of the things I see women doing DAILY that are backfiring on the body and causing the exact problems each woman would like to avoid... For example:

BAD BREATH - Can Embarrass You

Hello elegant reader, it gives me a great concern when i come closer to beautiful and cute ladies in discussion only to perceive some offending odor oozing out of their mouth.  It is really very embarrassing.  Some times they do not know because, the usual "brush your teeth in the morning" we were taught at school had been observed in the morning before we set out for work.

  Bad breath is when there is an unpleasant odor that usually comes from the mouth. When people exhale, the odor comes out. Not only is it a health issue, but it is also a social issue as well. People get turned off by those that have bad breath when they open their mouth.

How To Check For Bad Breath
There are different ways to determine whether or
not you have bad breath. Here are some ways
that you can do this

This is about the easiest way for you to find out if you have bad breath. Breathe on the
back of your hands. You will automatically
smell the odor as it comes out of your
mouth. This can determine how your breath really smells.

Did you know that saliva has an odor? Well, if you didn’t, you do now. You hope that
when you conduct this test that your breath will not have a foul odor. To do this, you will
slightly lick your wrist or the back of your hand.
Give it a few seconds and then take a whiff.
If you don’t smell anything, then you should

You can use a spoon or a tongue scraper to test
your breath. Scrape your tongue at the
front and back. Do each area one at a time.

Causes Of Bad Breath

Food
– When you eat, the food particles that remain in and around your teeth can cause an odor in your mouth. Of course, everyone knows that eating onions (raw ones, especially) and garlic are some of the worst culprits.
After you have digested these foods and smelly oils, they penetrate through your blood. Then they travel to your lungs and come up in your breath when you open your mouth.
It’s possible to have an onion or garlic smell for at least three days.

 Periodontal disease, which occurs from poor dental hygiene, can also cause bad breath. Food particles will remain in your mouth if you don’t brush and floss daily. You’ll probably have to brush and floss several times a day. If the food particles remain in your mouth, they will absorb bacteria. You may experience plaque on your teeth. If you don’t brush your teeth properly or not enough, the plaque can mess with your gums.You can end up getting gingivitis and tooth decay. 

Dry mouth
– The inside of your mouth should always be moist with saliva. Saliva is

used to clean your mouth. If you don’t have any saliva circulating on the inside, dead cells will gather on your tongue. They can also come on your cheeks and gums. This condition is called dry mouth.
Once the dead cells accumulate, they start to deteriorate, causing a foul odor inside of the mouth. This condition usually happens when a person is sleeping. If you sleep with your mouth open, you are more prone to get dry mouth. When you wake up in the morning, dry mouth can also cause what is known as “morning breath.” Chronic diseases
– Certain chronic lung ailments such as infections and abscesses can emit foul odors as you open your mouth. If you have chronic kidney failure, you could have an odor that smells like urine.
A fishy odor could be the result of chronic liver ailments. Those that have diabetes have a fruity odor. Also, some stomach ailments have been linked to bad breath.


Nose and throat infections– A person can also have bad breath from allergies. Sinus infections cause a nasal discharge. It goes from the back of the throat and trickles downward. This can cause a foul odor. You can also have bad breath if you have upper respiratory ailments in which you cough up mucus.  You can manage this effectively Check it Out Here!

Tobacco
– If you smoke cigarettes, it causes your mouth to be dry. Smoking causes an unpleasant odor after you have puffed on a cigarette. If you are a smoker, there is a greater chance for you to get periodontal disease, which would be a double whammy because that also causes bad breath.

Extreme dieting
– If you use a special diet or fasting to lose weight, you may have a fruity breath. This is a result of developing ketoacidosis, which is when the chemicals break down while you’re fasting.

Milk
– If you find out that you’re intolerant of milk, then you’ll have to get rid of it. You can develop bad breath if you’re consuming milk or dairy products that you can’t digest.


Alcohol
– Drinking alcohol can cause health issues with your digestive system. It also causes dry mouth, which can lead to bad breath.

Stress
– You probably would have never thought that stress could cause bad breath, but it can. When you’re stressed out, your digestive system is affected, which triggers bad breath.
Even with normal fresh breath, it could eventually transform into halitosis.Cancer of the throat or mouth is another culprit that causes persistent bad breath.
